After using large amounts of my spare time to learn more about Flex and the Flash platform.
I think a number of people were attempting to make the transition to Flash and Flex during their time with HTML, only to see the fall of the Flash platform due to the mobile and tablet trend.
More recently I have been spending my spare time learning more about Advanced Javascript, CSS and HTML and it’s clear that developers who learnt more about the ActionScript 3 and Flex are beginning to find themselves applying similar principles by using or creating more advanced javascript frameworks.
I think in many ways these techniques used in Flex and Flash can help in the development of Javascript and HTML applications. Including bindings, events, decoupling, oop, modules, just to name a few.
